EGG RANCH
In November of 2007 we started an egg ranch project by placing 6,000 hens in a building we refurbished. We have now completed the second house and put 3,000 chickens on the floor rather than in cages. We currently have 9,500 laying hens. We have worked through many problems, but soon we should be making enough of a profit to work on some of our other goals. Most of the profits will go to help women’s causes including uniforms for girls.Egg_Ranch.html
SCHOOL UNIFORMS
FOR GIRLS
In Mozambique all children must supply their own uniforms to attend public school. We have started a project to make uniforms, and we are having 50-75 made each month. In some cases we are giving chapa (bus) fares, and in rare cases we are paying the $14-16 yearly school fees. When possible we give pencils, pens, backpacks, and notebooks.Uniforms.html
